One day, I was feeling so reluctant as I thought of spending my money to buy something for my brother and my friend, using up all my savings… After spending some time choosing and racking my brain what presents to buy for them, I walked towards the cashier. I was queuing in front of a rich lady with pearl chains dangling around her neck and her face filled with thick make-up, how I wished I could be as rich as her. Just then, I heard the cashier lady talking to the lady in front of me. She mentioned that the lady did not have enough money to buy the purchases. At that time, I could not contain the amount of laughing gas in my stomach and I burst out in laughter. Other customers also started to giggle after they knew what was happening. The lady felt so embarrassed, therefore she left the shop immediately to avoid anymore embarrassment. Just as I put my purchases down on the counter table, I forked out all the money in my purse. Little did I know that the same thing happened to me, the shop owner told me that the money was not enough and I was short of $5. I think my face went red then…I was so embarrassed. I kept hearing giggles in my head and I feel like running to a place where no one knows me. Now, I finally realized when you treat others badly you will receive the same kind of treatment back one day. What goes around comes around, I could feel how awkward to be laughed by others especially in the public. From that day onwards, I will think before I do anything bad to others as I did not want any embarrassment to happen to me anymore.
