Good Friday @ Kallang Leisure Park

I had a wonderful Good Friday at Kallang Leisure Park. I arrived there at about 3.10pm with my mother. Both of us than headed to the Kallang Ice World, a ice skating rink. It cost $14 for 2hours of skating, I brought my own socks and glove but had to rent the skates as I did not have one. I was a first timer and started by holding on to the edge only but soon got the hang of it. Skating really is an enjoyable experience but it is not as easy as it seems. The skating rink was really packed and I had some difficulties as there were some people who were pretty good at skating and was zooming around so, I was really afraid they would bang into me, I saw this little girl who was really good and she had her own pair of skates, I guess she must have been a regular there as she was all alone without her parents anywhere and she was only about 6 and I also saw a lady who could spin round and round on the skates and could skate backward too!Despite the many difficulties, I skate for two whole hour and was really aching all over not to mention cold to the bone, my feet was practically freezing! But, I am proud to say that I fell down only once and I had a really magical and splendid time there, it was fun to skate around in the ice even though it could be pretty scary as I was afraid I might fall down or bang in to something and hurt myself.
After skating, my mother and I rested for about 15minutes first before heading to the cinema next door to catch the 5.30pm screening of Diary of a wimpy kid. Luckily, we had bought the tickets in advance, there was a really huge queue for the ticket counter. We bought a popcorn combo at the candy bar and went inside for our movie. This movie is pretty funny and is about this kid who is 10years old, it is basically about his life and how he wanted to be popular but instead failed and his best friend, whom he thought was making him unpopular became really popular! It's quite good but not that fantastic, I enjoyed it though.
After the show, we want to take a drink and a snack at the food court as the popcorn made me really full and my dad came to fetch us home, I was really tired but I had a whale of a time! I can't wait to go ice skating again!
